Serena Ferracci

Serena Ferracci, PhD, is a Cyber Security Specialist at Leonardo since July 2023, leading a project focused on monitoring and defending heterogeneous systems within Linux environments, encompassing IT infrastructure, IoT devices, and embedded systems. Previously, Serena served as a Cybersecurity Researcher at Sapienza Università di Roma from October 2019 to May 2023, where significant contributions included designing an active kernel space system for real-time attack detection and conducting research utilizing hardware support for debugging and optimization. Additionally, Serena worked as a Cyber Security Engineer at Hermes Bay from January 2020 to January 2023, enhancing a sandbox environment for malicious file analysis. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cyber Security and advanced degrees in Engineering in Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma.
