Debbie Starr

Debbie Starr brings extensive experience in social services and mental health, currently serving as an Evaluation Panel Reviewer for Lever for Change since September 2023. With a long-standing commitment to Operation Breakthrough since July 2013, Debbie has held various leadership positions, including Director of Special Projects and Director of Clinical and Social Services, alongside a therapeutic role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. As the Founder and Therapist at Constellations Counseling since August 2016 and the Founder of Constellations of Ideas/Constellation Books since 2010, Debbie has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to mental health. Early career experiences include a market research consultant role in the 1990s, a marketing manager position at Deloitte, and work as an executive recruiter at The Zivic Group. Debbie's educational background includes a Master's in Social Work from The University of Kansas and a Psychoanalysis certificate from the Greater Kansas City and Topeka Psychoanalytic Institute.
