Mark Letcher, PhD, currently serves as an Associate Professor and the ELA Teaching Program Director at Lewis University, a position held since August 2015. Prior to this, Mark Letcher worked as an Assistant Professor in English Education at Purdue University Calumet from 2010 to 2015. Mark Letcher oversees the English teacher education program for grades 6-12, teaches methods-related coursework, and supervises student teachers in practical settings. Educational qualifications include a PhD in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from The Ohio State University, a Master of Arts in English from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor of Science in Education focused on Secondary Education and Teaching from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
