Lindsey has extensive experience in educational settings, having worked as a Reading Specialist and Kindergarten Teacher at Mokena School District 159, where responsibilities included delivering targeted reading interventions, developing remote learning solutions during the pandemic, and managing grant proposals for innovative classroom resources. Previous teaching roles at Cicero West Elementary School and Liberty Elementary School focused on improving literacy and closing achievement gaps for underserved students. Lindsey holds a Master’s Degree in Reading Specialist from Olivet Nazarene University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University.
