Christoph Hartmann

Christoph Hartmann is a seasoned data scientist and software developer with extensive experience in patent content solutions. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist for Patent Content at LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions since December 2020, Christoph leads data science and engineering initiatives while evaluating and innovating methodologies and governance standards. Prior to this, Christoph held the position of Team Lead for Content Enrichment & Analytics at LexisNexis, enhancing patent content with analytical features. From January 2015 to December 2020, Christoph was Team Lead for AI Applications at PatentSight, where a patent similarity search tool was developed. Earlier roles include Software Architect and Full Stack Developer at PatentSight, Software Developer at Comma Soft AG, IT Consultant at Consistec, and Research Assistant at Max-Planck Institut Informatik. Christoph holds a Dr. rer. nat in Bioinformatics from Universität des Saarlandes and a Diplom in Computer Science from The University of Bonn.
