Livashan Govender

Livashan Govender is a financial advisor at Liberty Group South Africa since April 2024, bringing a diverse background in the oil and energy sector. Prior experience includes roles as a facilitator at Scientec Durban from May 2021 to April 2024, and as a business developer for fuels and oils at ICS Hydrocarbons between November 2018 and March 2020. Livashan served as a plant manager at Econ Oil and Energy from September 2015 to November 2017, where responsibilities included commissioning a new fuel oil blending facility and developing a preventative maintenance strategy. Earlier experience as a process technician at FFS Refiners from January 2012 to August 2015 involved leading a team in the refining of used lubricating oil into fuel for industrial applications. Livashan holds a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering obtained from Durban University of Technology, completing studies in 2013, and attended Durban High School from 2001 to 2005.
