Susan Horton

Susan Horton is an accomplished leader in enterprise learning and development, currently serving as the VP & Sr. Director at Liberty Mutual Insurance since August 2019. Known for fostering an inclusive and empowering environment, Susan has successfully spearheaded strategic learning solutions across various portfolios including GLLT and DEI. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Instructional Design and Development at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where Susan led teams to innovate learning culture and create comprehensive training curricula. With a robust background as a learning consultant, instructional designer, and project manager, Susan has effectively designed and implemented dynamic learning solutions for numerous organizations since 2003. Susan holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and a certification in Distance Education from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
