Justin Shorb

Justin Shorb is an accomplished chemistry educator and administrator with extensive experience in curriculum innovation and development. Currently serving as the Director of Curriculum Innovation and Development at LibreTexts since July 2024, Justin has previously held positions including Lab Manual Product Manager at Catalyst Education and Lab Coordinator at Duke University. With a solid background in higher education, Justin has been an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at both Hope College and the University of the Virgin Islands, and has contributed to research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Justin's academic journey includes earning a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS/BA in Chemistry and Math from Hope College.
