Unis Barakat

Unis Barakat is a highly experienced software engineer, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Life360 since June 2021, with prior roles as a Senior Software Engineer II and Senior Software Engineer in iOS. Before joining Life360, Unis worked at WW from November 2017 to June 2021, progressing through multiple engineering positions in iOS. Unis co-founded Masar in February 2016, leading a team focused on enhancing disaster relief efforts via mobile technology in areas with limited data access. Unis also co-founded Subliminal, creating an innovative app that helps mental health providers gather raw data on patients' mental states. Unis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science with a focus on Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
