Jen Ziemke

Jen Ziemke serves as an Associate Professor at John Carroll University since September 2008 and as a Paramedic with Lifecare Ambulance in Elyria, Ohio, starting in February 2020. Jen co-founded the International Network of Crisis Mappers in August 2009, an organization focused on leveraging technology and crowd-sourcing in humanitarian crises. Additionally, Jen has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Open Geospatial Consortium from January 2015 to December 2023. Jen's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with additional education from the University of Michigan and Cuyahoga Community College.
