Alexander Huber

Alexander Huber, PhD, is a seasoned scientist specializing in biomedical devices and tissue engineering, currently serving as Sr. Scientist in R&D at LifeNet Health since February 2014, where responsibilities include project management for surgical applications in sports medicine and ENT, as well as tissue-derived products. Prior roles include a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where Alexander led a research group in developing drug/device combinations and contributed to patent filings. Alexander’s educational background encompasses a PhD in Pharmacy with a focus on Tissue Engineering from the University of Nottingham, along with a Diploma in Biology from Heidelberg University, and experience in undergraduate studies across multiple institutions, including specialized research in tissue engineering techniques.
