Vanessa Yu

Vanessa Yu is a Senior Consultant at LifeSci Consulting since April 2021, having progressed through roles as Consultant and Analyst within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Assistant at Yale University's Center for Clinical Investigation, where management of two Phase II trials focused on COVID-19 therapeutic strategies was undertaken. At the Chun Lab within the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, Vanessa conducted an independent research project on endothelial p300's role in pulmonary hypertension and received the American Heart Association Founders Affiliate Fellowship. Additional experience includes physician shadowing at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, focusing on breast reconstructive cases, and research assistance at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, studying serotonergic neurons' effects on impulsivity. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in the History of Science and Medicine from Yale University.
