Janessa Carvalho is an experienced clinical neuropsychologist and academic with a robust background in neuropsychological evaluations and higher education. Currently, Janessa serves as a Professor at Bridgewater State University since 2013, having progressed through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. In clinical practice, Janessa has held various positions, including Clinical Neuropsychologist at Southcoast Health and Lifespan since 2015, and previously at New England Geriatrics and South Shore Mental Health. Janessa completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Alpert Medical School of Brown University from 2010 to 2013 after earning a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2011.
