Bilal Hussain

Bilal Hussain is an accomplished engineering professional with a diverse background in electrical and software engineering. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Lightmatter since November 2023 and simultaneously working as a Software Engineer at Clinlab.AI, Inc since February 2023, Bilal has previously held positions at notable companies such as Cerebras Systems, where responsibilities included software engineering, and Compology, where Bilal focused on hardware design. Additional experience includes roles at GEOTAB in design verification engineering, an electrical engineering position at a stealth startup, and hardware engineering at Apple. Early career milestones include electrical engineering at Tesla and systems engineering at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Educationally, Bilal earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Waterloo.
