Sonia Kandola

Sonia Kandola is an accomplished professional in government relations and public policy, currently serving as the Director of Government Relations at Lime, the world’s largest shared electric vehicle company, since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Government and Stakeholder Relations and Senior Communications and Engagement Lead at TransLink, where effective transportation system management was key. Sonia also worked as a Policy Analyst for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, contributing to business advocacy and public policy initiatives. Earlier achievements include consulting for Green Technology Asia Pte Ltd, serving as a Junior Research Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, and positions as a Database Analyst with the Inter-American Development Bank and Research Associate at The Conference Board of Canada. Educationally, Sonia holds a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs from The University of British Columbia, and a Master's in Public Affairs from Sciences Po, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from The University of British Columbia.
