Sondre Skatter

Sondre Skatter is an experienced data science manager with a robust background in algorithm development and systems engineering spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Data Science Manager at Liminal Insights since April 2023, Sondre previously held significant positions, including Chief Algorithm Scientist at Smiths Digital Forge, where leadership of a six-member team led to innovative product development within the IoT space. Prior roles at Smiths Detection and Morpho Detection focused on algorithmic innovation in detection systems, with impactful contributions to homeland security technology. Sondre’s earlier career includes influential positions at GE Security and Invision Technologies, highlighting expertise in engineering management and advanced detection systems. Sondre holds a Ph.D. in Nondestructive Testing from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a Master’s in Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
