Sandeep Singhal

Sandeep Singhal is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across several prominent companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at LinkedIn since May 2024, Sandeep previously held various senior director positions at Meta, focusing on AI systems and storage. Prior to that, Sandeep was a Senior Director of Engineering at Google, with a concentration on cloud storage, and spent over a decade at Microsoft Corporation in several managerial roles, including General Manager of Bing Maps and Internet Explorer. Sandeep's career began as Chief Technology Officer at ReefEdge Networks, followed by an adjunct professorship at North Carolina State University. Sandeep's early career includes significant roles at IBM as Senior Technical Staff Member and Chief Architect. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Stanford University, along with multiple degrees in Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, and Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University.
