Pete Torres

Pete Torres is an experienced technology and operations leader currently serving as an Angel Investor - Partner at Angeles Investors and a member of the Advisory Board at Control Plane Corporation. With a long career at Capital One from 2010 to 2023, Pete held various senior leadership roles, including Head of DevOps and Managing Director in multiple divisions, focusing on engineering excellence and the commercialization of technology solutions. Pete's commitment to leadership development is evidenced by involvement with HITEC as an Emerging Executive Fellow and participation in multiple leadership programs. Previous roles include Director of Information Technology at the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association and senior consultancy positions with several firms, culminating in a foundational military background with the US Army. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Bellevue University.
