Kara McKinney

Kara McKinney has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, currently serving as Vice President of Global AVOD at Lionsgate since February 2013. Over the years at Lionsgate, Kara has held various positions including Executive Director, Global SVOD/AVOD, Director of Global SVOD & AVOD, Manager of International Digital Distribution, Coordinator of TV Sales, and Assistant for Worldwide Television and Digital Distribution. Prior to Lionsgate, Kara gained experience as an intern in several roles, including positions at Kaplan Stahler Agency, 6 SALES, Red Varden Studios, and FilmFunds Inc. Kara holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Film and Media Studies from The University of Kansas, obtained in 2012.
