Bryan Shade

Bryan Shade currently serves as a Senior Associate at Lippes Mathias LLP since September 2022. Previously, Bryan worked as an Attorney in the Division of Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior from May 2019 to September 2022, and held the roles of Executive CIO (Interim) and General Counsel for the Cherokee Nation from October 2016 to May 2019. Bryan's experience also includes serving on the Board of Directors of the American Indian Resource Center, Inc. and various positions within the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, including Analyst for Tribal Administration and Secretary-Treasurer for the UKB Corporate Authority Board of Directors. Bryan's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Arkansas School of Law and advanced degrees in Business Administration from Northeastern State University.
