Yoky Matsuoka is currently VP of Technology at Nest. After an impressive-yet-short tennis career (once ranked 21st in Japan), she pursued a BS from UC Berkeley and an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. Through her work at Barrett Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Washington, and as Head of Innovation at Google, Yoky has combined neuroscience and robotics to pioneer a new field she refers to as “neurobotics“.
