Jason Zhou is an Electrical Engineer specializing in Battery Technology at Litens Automotive Group since May 2023. Concurrently, Jason has served as an Engineering Academy Academic Mentor at the University of Toronto since May 2021, focusing on developing teaching materials and providing feedback to students, ultimately becoming the Physics Head Mentor in 2022. As the Senior Design Competition Director for the University of Toronto Engineering Society, Jason led a team to design a sustainable litter-collecting rover, achieving 2nd place in the Junior Design Competition at UTEK2022. Jason's experience also includes facilitating orientations for international students as part of Engineering Buddies and conducting research on magnesium alloys at Lund University, in collaboration with researchers from the University of Michigan and the University of British Columbia. Jason is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in 2024.
