Shoham Arad

Shoham Arad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design, education, and arts leadership. Currently serving as Director of TED Fellows at TED Conferences since February 2013, Shoham also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design since 2017, where contributions are made to the School of Constructed Environments. Additionally, Shoham Arad is an active board member at Fine Acts and serves as Arts Advisor for Little Island NYC, focusing on community engagement and creative celebration. Involvement with the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live as a Steering Committee Member emphasizes a commitment to global initiatives. Previous roles include Responsible Leader at the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and Collaborator at New York Live Arts. Shoham's design background includes founding Shoham Arad Designs, creating diverse, small-batch production items. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University.
