John P. McAvoy

John P. McAvoy, Esquire, currently serves as Special Counsel at Littler, having previously held the position of Partner at Zarwin Baum. With extensive experience in labor and employment law, John has represented employers in various litigation matters, including discrimination and retaliation claims, and has provided counsel on commercial litigation and employment policies. Prior experience includes roles at Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP, Ward Law, LLC, Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, and The MacMain Law Group, LLC, where John handled a wide range of employment-related disputes and provided strategic legal counsel. John also served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Chancery Division of the New Jersey Superior Court and has a strong academic background with a J.D. from Widener University Schools of Law and a BBA from Loyola University Maryland.
