Tammy Knies, CTPRP, is an accomplished procurement and vendor management professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head of Vendor Management and Procurement at Live Oak Bank since April 2022, Tammy previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Services (Chief Procurement Officer) at People's United Bank, N.A. from 2009 to April 2022. Throughout the career, Tammy has been instrumental in developing and implementing policies and programs that enhance procurement and vendor management, achieving significant cost savings and risk mitigation. Key accomplishments include saving over $10 million annually through centralized procurement processes and creating a comprehensive risk management system for vendor oversight. Tammy’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Albertus Magnus College, complemented by training in negotiating skills from Scotwork.
