Rebecca Mallabone

Rebecca Mallabone is an experienced educator currently serving as a Third Grade Teacher at Live Oak School since August 2023, following a role as a Learning Specialist at San Francisco Friends School from August 2020 to August 2023. Prior to that, Rebecca taught third grade at Stratford School from August 2015 to June 2020 and served as a 5th Grade Teacher at Leonard R. Flynn Elementary School for a brief period in early 2015. Additionally, Rebecca's teaching journey includes experience as a substitute teacher at Live Oak School, a student teacher at Washington School, and volunteer positions at Leonard R. Flynn Elementary School and Opportunity Impact. With a strong educational background, including an MA in Education and a BA in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University, Rebecca has also engaged in various professional development initiatives encompassing STEM practices, gender identity, and restorative practices. Earlier career roles include administrative positions at Red Gate Software and Arts Council England.
