Mark Kuo

Mark Kuo is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various senior roles across multiple companies and sectors. Currently serving as General Counsel for LIXIL in the Greater China, Asia Pacific, and Africa regions since June 2015, Mark also holds a partnership position at Summer Capital focused on late-stage private equity investments in Asia. Previously, Mark was a Director at American Standard (China) Co., Ltd., and held board positions with Yakima Products, Inc., and HydroNovation Inc. Mark's expertise in venture capital and legal consulting was further established during tenure at Gobi Partners, where Mark served as Partner and General Counsel, advising on investments in technology companies. Prior work experience includes a Senior Associate role at DLA Piper and a Senior Product Manager role at Microsoft. Mark holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Harvard University, a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, an MA in International Relations from Princeton University, and has participated as a Harvard Yenching Visiting Scholar at Fudan University, specializing in Chinese history and literature.
