Brandon Bass

Brandon Bass is a seasoned quantitative researcher and data scientist with extensive experience in the energy and financial sectors. Currently, Brandon holds the position of Quantitative Researcher at LMR Partners and serves as Co-Founder and CTO of MySunBuddy, a platform for peer-to-peer renewable energy transactions. Previously, Brandon worked at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. as a Quantitative Analyst, focusing on commodities and systematic trading strategies. Other roles include Data Scientist at True Signal and M Science, where Brandon specialized in alternative data-driven investing and machine learning pipelines. As Principal Data Scientist at Edison Energy, Brandon developed solutions to mitigate energy risks for companies. Brandon's technical expertise is complemented by a Master of Engineering in Power Systems Engineering from Cornell University, where Brandon also earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering.
