Gideon Dean

Gideon Dean is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director and On-Air Talent for Local Daily Media, where responsibilities include leading the Cannon Country 107.9 (WBQK) brand and enhancing station visibility in the community and digital spaces. Previously, Gideon held various positions, including Radio Intern at Pamal Broadcasting, where skills in programming, promotional copy, and grassroots marketing were developed. As Communications Director at WONY-FM, Gideon was instrumental in promoting the station's image and fostering communication among members, while also serving as Programming Director, overseeing on-air schedules and live shows. Additional experience includes editorial work at Country Aircheck and digital content creation at Townsquare Media. Gideon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry from SUNY Oneonta.
