Charlie Carthew is a seasoned fire service professional with extensive experience in incident command and training. Currently serving as Station Commander in the Incident Command Development Team at London Fire Brigade since June 2020, Charlie focuses on developing maintenance of skills programs for level 2 incident commanders. Previously, Charlie managed large training projects for operational and non-operational staff as Station Commander in the Training Commissioning and Design Programme. Prior to joining London Fire Brigade, Charlie worked at East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service for over a decade, progressing from Crew Manager to Watch Manager B, leading incident command training and assessment.
