Sophia Africk

Sophia Africk is currently a Growth Investor at Long Ridge Equity Partners since September 2023. Previously, Sophia served as a Teaching Assistant for the Business Communication for Impact course at The Wharton School from August 2021 to May 2023. Notable internship experiences include roles at Tesla as an FP&A and Business Operations Intern and at Microsoft as an Explore Intern focusing on Program Management and Software Engineering. Additionally, Sophia completed the Computer Science Summer Institute at Google and worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia University’s Dynamic Perception and Memory Lab. Sophia holds a dual degree in Business from Wharton and Systems Science and Engineering from the Jerome Fisher M&T Program, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Finance, and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. Education was completed at Trinity School in NYC, graduating in 2019.
