Kimmo Vekkeli

Kimmo Vekkeli is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal auditing and financial management. Currently, Kimmo serves as the Director of Post-Merger Integrations at Lonza, where leadership includes transforming audit teams, managing global complex assignments, and overseeing recruitment and budgeting efforts. Previous roles at Lonza include Associate Director of Internal Audit, where Kimmo led operational audits and data analytics initiatives. Prior to Lonza, Kimmo held positions at Zimmer Biomet and United Technologies, focusing on internal audit engagements and financial planning for the EMEA region. Kimmo's career began at Marioff Corporation Oy, progressing from Junior Consultant to Project Manager. Kimmo’s educational background includes a Master's Degree in Information & Service Management from Aalto University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Business, along with additional leadership training from IMD.
