Gregory Siemers

Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory

Gregory Siemers is a graduate researcher currently associated with Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Graduate Research Assistant since June 2022. Previously, Gregory worked as a Graduate Research Intern in the Nuclear Data group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, focusing on the development of a singular SAMMY evaluation method for nuclear data fitting. At Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Gregory contributed to the preliminary development of a Hybrid Li-6/Li-7 Glass Neutron Detector and engaged in D-T fusion source optimization and advanced nuclear fuels research. Gregory holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Engineering and Science, expected in 2025, and has earned a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering, graduating Cum Laude.
