Jashanjeet Baath

Jashanjeet Baath, EIT, is a Mechanical Engineer 1 at Los Alamos National Laboratory since June 2023, contributing to the ES - IF group. Previously, Jashanjeet worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Texas A&M University J. Mike Walker '66 Department of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on adaptive machine learning techniques to optimize energy consumption in homes. Jashanjeet also served as Project Manager and Coordinator for a senior design project, designing a model apparatus for leak rate testing in collaboration with the Electric Power Research Institute. An internship as an Area Manager Intern at Amazon involved proposing operational improvements that mitigated significant losses and optimized processes. Earlier experience includes an engineering internship with BRAYN Consulting LLC, where Jashanjeet estimated electrical consumption and ensured compliance with energy standards, and roles as a Poll Worker and Leadership Intern. Jashanjeet holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in the same field at the same institution.
