Kevin Spilker

Kevin Spilker is a Postdoctoral researcher specializing in structural mechanics at Los Alamos National Laboratory since February 2023, focusing on the development of advanced solid mechanics modeling techniques and the multiscale response of ceramic matrix composites. Previously, from February 2019 to January 2023, Kevin served as a Research Engineer in the Computational & Multiscale Mechanics of Materials Laboratory at Université de Liège, where Kevin conducted clustering analysis-based modeling and completed a PhD in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Kevin worked as a Teaching Assistant for a course on Fracture Mechanics during the same period. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Associate role in the Experimental Geophysics Group at Ruhr-University Bochum, where Kevin earned both a Master of Science in Geophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences.
