Shelley D. Bales

Shelley D. Bales, PMP, currently serves as a Program Manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory since September 2023. Previously, Shelley held the position of Principal Project Manager at Microsoft, where responsibilities included overseeing a multimillion-dollar cloud migration project involving over 200 stakeholders. With extensive experience at Lockheed Martin from 2016 to 2022, Shelley progressed from Integration Planner to Senior Manager Program Management, leading significant Department of Defense drone projects and managing various aspects of Special Operations vehicle delivery. Shelley's early career included founding Turning Point Vineyards, a successful winery in Kentucky, showcasing skills in business development and operations management. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Capella University and studies at Eastern Kentucky University.
