Yana Paulson

Yana Paulson serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services since January 2020, providing advisory support for the Medi-Cal Pharmacy Benefit program. Concurrently, Yana Paulson has held the position of Chief Pharmacy Officer at L.A. Care Health Plan since April 2015, also previously serving as Senior Director of Enterprise Pharmacy. Prior roles include Manager of Formulary Development and Clinical and Specialty Pharmacy at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services at SCAN Health Plan, and Director of Pharmacy Medicare Finance at Kaiser Permanente. Yana Paulson's career began in clinical pharmacy services with positions such as Director of Pharmacy at Maxor National Pharmacy Services and various clinical roles at Kaiser Permanente, LAC/USC, and Harbor UCLA Medical Centers. Yana Paulson's education includes a Pharm. D. from the University of the Pacific, a pharmacy residency in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Pharmacokinetics from the University of Southern California.
