Soheil Katal

Soheil Katal is an accomplished information technology executive with extensive experience in managing IT infrastructure and directing technology strategies across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Los Angeles Unified School District since April 2015, Soheil oversees a significant OPEX budget of $20 million and a CAPEX project budget of $290 million while managing a team of 150 full-time staff. Previous roles include IT Director at Red Hawk Fire & Security, where Soheil successfully negotiated contracts, implemented sophisticated data center strategies, and improved business continuity, as well as Director of IT Infrastructure at United Technologies, responsible for business continuity and compliance across 47 locations. An MBA in Information Technology from Florida Institute of Technology and a BSc in Mathematic - Operational Research from S&B University complement Soheil's professional expertise.
