David Simon

David Simon is a maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Superviseur engins sous-marins and Pilote d'engins submarins - Officier Câble at Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) since April 2022, David previously held the position of Responsable Production/Souscription at Guian SA until April 2022, after progressing through several roles including Production Manager for the Hull and P&I team and Chargé de production. David has served as President of the maritime law students association in Le Havre and has a background in hospitality as Lead Bartender at Le Vent Couvert. Early maritime experiences include roles as Polyvalent Cadet at Ponant and CMA CGM, and AB on a small ferry with Compagnie Oceane. David's educational qualifications include a Master 2 degree in Droit de la mer et activités portuaires from Le Havre Normandy University and multiple diplomas from the École nationale supérieure maritime.
