Galen Gautreaux

Galen Gautreaux is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in enterprise applications and information services. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Applications at LCTCS since April 2012, Galen has successfully led the implementation and support of an ERP system for 18 institutions, benefiting 6,000 employees and 250,000 students. Noteworthy achievements include the implementation of Microsoft SQL Server and the migration of over 4,000 Oracle tables. Previously, as VP of Information Services at EATEL from May 1996 to November 2011, Galen focused on enhancing customer service through advanced technology and improved internal communication systems. Galen's career also includes leadership roles at Cajun Electric Power Cooperative and programming positions at Bank of Gonzales and Fidelity National Bank. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University and studies at Louisiana State University and Southeastern Louisiana University.
