Bridget Simon-Friedt

Bridget Simon-Friedt, MS, PhD, is a Population Health Scientist at the Louisiana Public Health Institute since May 2023. With a strong background in biomedical sciences and global environmental health, Bridget has previously served as a researcher at the Houston Methodist Research Institute, where significant projects included the Bayou Greenways Health Impact Study and Hurricane Harvey post-disaster assessments. At Tulane University, Bridget held various research scientist roles focusing on health risk assessments related to environmental contaminants, including the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and contributed to the development of community partnerships and interventions for affected populations. Bridget's deep expertise includes advanced data analysis, multi-phase experimental design, and scholarly publication contributions across multiple scientific topics.
