Neil Brown

Neil Brown is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Capital Formation at Low Carbon since November 2023, where Neil is also a member of the Executive Committee and the LCIM Investment Committee. Previously, from October 2013 to November 2023, Neil held the title of Partner at Actis, contributing as a member of the Actis Executive Committee and leading the Global Head of Investor Development Group. Neil co-founded Minerva Capital Advisors, a boutique advisory firm specializing in Alternative Investments, particularly in Emerging Markets, from April 2009 to October 2013. Additional roles include Head of Funds Management and Capital Markets at Allco Finance Group and Managing Director at Citi Alternative Investments, where Neil was the Global Head of Sales, Product & Client Services. Neil began their career at the Boston Consulting Group as a Manager/Principal and served as Chief of Staff to the Chairman during the Australian Treasury Wallis Inquiry Secretariat. Neil holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Chemistry from UNSW.
