John Latham

John Latham is an experienced professional in the field of biophysics and biochemistry, currently serving as Director of Biophysics and Senior Principal Scientist at Loxo Oncology at Lilly since September 2022. Previously, John was an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Denver from August 2015 to September 2022, where John led an NIH and NSF funded biochemistry laboratory focused on biosynthetic pathways. John's earlier work includes postdoctoral fellowships at UC Berkeley, where research centered on the pyrroloquinoline quinone biosynthetic pathway, and the University of New Mexico, involved in the synthesis of acyl-CoA analogs. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico, alongside a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science, both from Eastern New Mexico University.
