Dr. Derek Lau

Dr. Derek Lau is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Vice President of the Technology Office at Lenovo PCCW Solutions since October 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Lau held leadership positions at HID Global as Director of Solutions & Services, and PCCW Solutions Limited, where responsibilities included heading the Technology Architecture Team and serving as Assistant Vice President and System Architect. Dr. Lau's extensive experience spans multiple technical roles at PCCW (formerly HKT) and COL Limited, complemented by early work as an Account Assistant at Sing Tao Newspapers Limited. Educationally, Dr. Lau holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle and multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in System Engineering & Engineering Management and a Master of Arts in Electronic Business.
