Sara Momii Roberts

Sara Momii Roberts has over 15 years of experience in education, currently serving as a Middle School Humanities Teacher at LREI since September 2008. In this role, Sara is also a Middle School DEI Facilitator, Eighth Grade Social Justice Project Facilitator, Academic Advisor, and Racial Affinity Group Advisor. Sara has provided tailored academic tutoring since 2006 for middle and high school students in subjects including history, English, academic writing, and organizational skills. Additionally, Sara participated as a Fulbright Fellow with the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program from September 2021 to August 2023, designed curricula for Penguin Random House Education from December 2022 to April 2023, and has contributed to other educational initiatives through positions with organizations such as PBS and The Asian American Education Project. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Masters of Science in Teaching from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
