Sonya Milford

Sonya Milford is an experienced design professional currently serving as Design Director at Lucky Generals since November 2024. Prior to this role, Sonya held the position of Digital Design Director at Colenso BBDO from June 2021 to September 2024 and also worked as Senior Digital Designer there. As the Founder of Āhua Collective, a group of QTBIPOC artists focused on decolonizing creative futures, Sonya contributed to collective initiatives from December 2020 to June 2024. Previous experience includes roles as Digital Designer at Gladeye and Senior Digital Designer at TVNZ, as well as positions at TRA New Zealand, helloworld NZ, and Air New Zealand. Sonya Milford earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Lindenwood University between 2009 and 2013.
