Giovanni Manfredi

Giovanni is an internationally renowned mitochondrial expert who has made seminal contributions to the understanding of the molecular and biochemical mechanisms of mitochondrial dysfunction in neuro-degenerative diseases. Giovanni is a Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine, in New York City, where his research focuses on target discovery for bioenergetic and mitochondrial dysfunction in ALS and primary mitochondrial diseases.
