Laurie Sanders

Laurie is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine, where her research is focused on understanding pathogenic mitochondrial disease mechanisms and developing novel biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. She was the single recipient of the William N. & Bernice E. Bumpus Foundation award in 2015. Recently she was named the 2020 Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society Young Scientist.
