Brian Sykes

Brian Sykes is a seasoned professional in the commercial real estate finance industry with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Managing Director at Lument since September 2020, Sykes leads efforts to provide customized capital solutions for investors in multifamily and affordable housing sectors. Prior to this role, Sykes held the position of Senior Vice President at Capital One Multifamily from November 2013 to September 2020, enhancing financing solutions for multifamily owners. Sykes also served as Senior Vice President of Origination at Beech Street Capital, where significant contributions were made to financing solutions for multi-family owners from August 2010 to November 2013. Earlier career experience includes roles as Vice President at Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage and Berkshire Mortgage Finance, as well as Assistant Vice President of Lending at Cambridge Saving Bank. Sykes holds an MBA in Finance from Bentley University and a BS in Finance from the same institution. Educational background also includes a diploma from Rockville High School.
