Andrew Cairns

Andrew Cairns is a Major Gifts Officer at Lumenus Community Services since August 2024 and has served as the Head Soccer Coach at Markham Soccer Club since April 2010. Previously, Andrew held the position of Development Officer for York Region at The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society from September 2019 to August 2024, focusing on donor engagement and stewardship. Andrew's experience also includes roles as Development and Stewardship Coordinator, Coordinator of Community Engagement at Diabetes Canada, and Resource Development Associate at 360°kids. Interning in Corporate Communications at Mercedes-Benz Canada and coaching soccer at Alabama State University further complement Andrew's skill set. Andrew holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations-Corporate Communications from Seneca Polytechnic, an Associate's degree in Sports Management from Durham College, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Goldey-Beacom College, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Iowa Central Community College.
